4. Bike Week
John H is looking for more volunteers to lead afterworker rides during Bike Week, June 11-19.
ACTION - Andy please post Bike Week and other rides on the website.

5. Schools Projects.
Derek said 24 year-5 youngsters at Thomas a Beckett primary school at Abbey Wood were being trained by Cycle Training UK at a cost of £1639 from a grant obtained by Greenwich Cyclists. They hadn't bothered to tell us the project had begun. Derek visited school, headmistress said she would like three more pupils trained. Agreed, using funds not claimed from another schools project.
Greenwich Council demanding £580 plus £190 for training at St.Mary Magdalene school by Raj Shukla.
ACTION - agreed no payment until training actually carried out. Derek asked for a timetable within four weeks.

6. Planning.
Anthony thanked cyclists who had contributed to our submission for athe LCN+ route (see last month).

7. Velodrome
John H reminded of Barry's May 12 "Open the Velodrome Afterworker". Meet 6.30pm Southwark Needle. To the 7.45pm Save Herne Hill Velodrome meeting at the Methodist Church Hall, Half Moon Lane, SE24.

8. Treasurer Report
Treasurer said he will be presenting 6-month financial report June-December 2004 at the AGM.

9. AGM
AGM set for Wednesday June 1, at The Armada Centre, Creek Road SE8, at 7.30 pm. Refreshments to be offered afterwards at The Dog & Bell. Julian to ask an independent to chair the meeting. Derek (treasurer) and Anthony (secretary) said they were available for the same jobs next year
