1. Barry opened the meeting, new members were welcomed, all introduced themselves.

2. Minutes of last meeting:
Foot tunnel closure: Closing June. GLC stated they cannot run trains through the night but could offer 8.00pm - 12.00 and will consider allowing bikes on the train. This would be the first time a light railway has carried bikes. BM to attend a meeting on Monday, 8 April to discuss problem.

LCC future strategy: GC have responded. LCC very grateful for our comments as little response from elsewhere.

Greenwich’s Draft Unified Development Plan: Greg not present to feed back to meeting.

National Bike Week: we have a full agenda and will be joining other cycling groups during the week.

3. International Women’s Festival: Karen feedback on the success of the events. Following feedback from women involved it appears they would like family type rides. Also a need for absolute beginners rides. GC cannot afford a professional trainer and we would need to apply for grants. Meeting agreed that beginners rides should be considered once a month. Adrian Monk offered to lead these rides. Harry Perry Bikes of Woolwich has offered to loan bikes free of charge.
Karen and Kate will be meeting at 7.00 at Gypsy Moth on 11 April to discuss beginners rides - all welcome to attend.
