5. Application to Dept for Transport
We have submitted an application to the DfT for funding for a project to encourage cycling at Eltham Green School. (See March meeting notes for details). Proposal was scaled down due to onerous match-funding requirements but received good support from Schools Travel Plan Co-ordinator, Eltham Green School, Councillors Brooks and Challis and the South Greenwich Regeneration Agency.
Nick is pursuing some additional funding options to assist the project (EAZ suggested). Nick
Result of bid will be announced in June.
6. AGM and elections
Our AGM will take place in June, and LCC Co-ordinator, Simon Brammer will attend to oversee the elections.
It was suggested that we organise a buffet and pay bar at the end of the AGM to celebrate the first three successful years. Agreed £200 for this.
Barry repeated his intention to stand down as co-ordinator. He asked for indications whether anyone would be prepared to stand instead. Hilary said she was considering it.
Karen and Barry circulated a document reflecting the structure of our organisation and duties for each of the posts, for discussion before the AGM.
Suggestions included:
Karen will circulate the document via the e-list and collate responses/amend the document for discussion at next meeting. Karen M.
All posts will have to be filled (job share welcome) so please consider volunteering. all
