Plumstead Road blocks...
Greenwich Cyclists have asked Greenwich Council to review the Plumstead Road improvements in progress as a matter of urgency. Granite cubes are being used to seperate the bike and bus lanes.....as we go to print, those cubes stick up much too high and will be very dangerous to cyclists forced over them by the need to overtake motor vehicles illegally parked in the
bikelane. Tower Hamlets used exactly the same cubes to slow down bikes on the otherwise wonderful Green Bridge over 4 lanes of motor-traffic in Mile End Park. But the cubes were badly laid and dangerously protruded too much. They had to be ground down at huge expense. If only Greenwich had asked us first..... Get your Pedal Power
